Urgent Care Riverside (UCR) provides urgent medical care in a separate medical facility from a traditional Emergency Room (ER). This allows patients to access services that would ordinarily be only accessed in a hospital ER. Urgent Care Riverside benefits patients with affordable rates when compared to hospital ER and allow for hospital ER bypass through straight admission to hospitals when admission is indicated. Urgent Care Riverside also sees and manage patients with chronic ailments and coordinate their care.

Urgent Care Riverside is conveniently located within a multi-specialty medical centre serving as a gatekeeper for the medical centre. The practice is a walk-in urgent care centre that opens seven days a week, 365 days a year with extended hours. We see CASH and MEDICAL AID patients. Injuries On Duty (WCA) patients are also welcome.

URGENT CARE

Family Care, Sprains and Strains, Bites and Stings, Eye Problems, PEP, PREP, Coughs and Colds, Asthma Attacks and Nebulisation, Open Wound Stitching, Abscess Drainage, Conscious Sedation for Minor Procedures, Minor Burn, IV Meds for Stomach Ulcers, ECG and many more. Onsite lab(Lancet), Pharmacy and X-ray departments with CT scanner facilities.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

Physical repeat prescriptions for new patients, telephonic and physical repeat prescriptions for existing patients. Scripts conveniently electronically sent to nearest pharmacy for delivery or collection for existing patients.

 

PALLIATIVE CARE

Palliative Care team wing proving psychosocial support to patients and families facing life threatening illnesses like dementia, increasing frailty, cancer and end stage organ disease. This is a home based service allowing families to spend precious time with their loved ones in the comfort of their own home while we ensure that their loved ones have their distressing symptoms alleviated through cutting age equipments, medication and team approach.
