Pediatric podiatry
Identify foot problems that could affect a child’s foot and gait immediately, or later on in life, can be effectively treated and prevent further complications. Such examples include: Flat feet, deformed feet, foot pains, toenail conditions, rotation problems, warts etc.
Orthoses
It is an external medical device for supporting, immobilizing, or treating muscles, joints, or skeletal parts which are weak, ineffective, deformed, or injured. Prescription, custom insoles are an important part of the management plan for many things, from pain, flat and high arch feet, clawing toes, and knee pain to running injuries, corns, bunions and deformity, as well as before and after foot surgery. They can be made for sports shoes, formal shoes and some sandals.
They are designed from the information gained from the Gait & Biomechanical assessment.
